Hotwave promotion was formed in 1987 under Hotwave
Band,Hotwave promotion started with doing outdoor
promotion and played music in front of the
Supermarkets,Furniture shops and restaurants, In 1990
Hotwave Band were forced leave Empangeni where it
was formed,The reason for Hotwave leaving Empangeni
was political violence because Hotwave was famous to
their audiences because of popular cover version from
the likes of the late Brenda,Chicco
Thwala,Chimora,Splash,African Youth Band(AYB)
Amaqabane(Blondie Makena’s political Band. Hotwave
has shared the stage with likes of Casino,Eric D,Dr
Victor,Sankomota,Nina Brothers Lucky Dube
and many more during
live band festivals

In 1995 Hotwave signed a contract to promote Black Chic
and later recorded their first album called Kaskara Dai
Ding the album was sponsored by Hairglo from Kiwi
Brands which was later called Sara Lee.
Hotwave traveled better parts of South Africa promising
Sara Lee products their album,In 1996 Hotwave recorded
their second album called Ses’khona also sponsored by
Sara Lee,And In 1997 contract with Sara Lee was
terminated and a new contract Logic Marketing,The Band
continued with their music and promotions until 1999
when the band splits, Mr T V Zungu continued with the
promotion as it was always his dream to do marketing
using music,It’s when VEELONDS was formed and
continued where Hotwave left and continued to service
their clients, in the 2000 Vusi signed a
contract Imak Foods And Floyd’s.

Due to the fact that Hotwave was popular to their fans
whenever seeing Veelonds Productions in action they
always ask about or relate it Hotwave.Due to family
responsibilities Mr V Zungu decided to quit showbizz and
start working on a permanent basis,But clients of Both
Hotwave And Veelonds customers could not stop
requesting services from him,It’s is when the decision of
registering VEELONDS COMMUNICATIONS HOLDINGS PTY
(LTD) and Hotwave as part of the Holdings,however
Hotwave will be doing Entertaiment side of the business
and in the near future Hotwave is planning to remix and
release old Hotwave songs from Hotwave previous albums
although other members of Hotwave have passed on; the
main members who are vocalists will still get together.The
two directors of the company will take care of all other
aspects of the business and unearth new talent which is
likely to focus on Gospel Artists,
